1 dead in Chandler officer-involved shooting

A suspect is dead after being shot Wednesday afternoon in a Chandler neighborhood, police said.

Chandler officers responded just after 1:30 p.m. May 8 to Carla Vista and Los Feliz drives for what was initially a domestic disturbance call for service, police stated on Facebook.

Police confirmed on Facebook that an officer-involved shooting occurred, and the suspect is dead.

No officers were injured.

An investigation was underway, and police said there is no threat to the public related to the incident.
