    Lane restrictions on I-10 near Chandler, Monday through Wednesday

    Drivers traveling on I-10 through the Wild Horse Pass corridor should plan for lane restrictions Monday thorugh Wednesday, June 17-19.

    The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists to plan for overnight lane restrictions on I-10 as work continues on the bridges over the Gila River.

    Construction of these new bridges is part of the I-10 Wild Horse Pass Corridor Projects.

    From 9 p.m., Monday, June 17, to 5 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, eastbound I-10 will have the left lane closed near the Gila River bridges (mileposts 172-173).

    From 9 p.m., Tuesday June 18, to 5 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, westbound I-10 will have the left lane closed) near the  bridges.

    Drivers should allow extra travel time, drive with caution and reduce speed while driving through the construction work zone.

    The speed limit in the work zone is 55 mph.
