Portage Kwik Trip sells second $50K-winning Powerball ticket in less than a month

PORTAGE, Wis. -- A $50,000-winning Powerball was sold at a Kwik Trip in Portage over the weekend, Wisconsin Lottery officials said Monday, the second time a $50,000-winning ticket was sold at the store this month.

The ticket was sold at the Kwik Trip at 1223 East Wisconsin Street for the Saturday drawing. The ticket matched four of the five numbers (3-8-40-53-58) as well as the Powerball (3).

This is just the latest in a string of winning tickets sold at the Portage Kwik Trip. Since August 2017, scratch tickets winning $25,000, $50,000, $54,000 and $100,000; as well as three $50,000-winning lotto tickets and a $140,000-winning lotto ticket were sold at the location.

The odds of winning a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130.
