HUBBARD, Wis. -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office announced Sunday deputies responded to an emergency plane landing in a Hubbard farm field.

After receiving reports of a plane that was flying low and sounded like it was having engine issues, the DCSO said it sent a deputy to the area of Raasch Hill Road and County Highway TW in the town of Hubbard. There, law enforcement located two airplanes in a farm field.

The DCSO said the pilot of the disabled plane was on his way back to Georgia from the EAA AirVenture show in Oshkosh when he began losing power to his single-engine aircraft. The pilot made an emergency landing in the farm field because he could not make it to an airport.

The DCSO said the second plane on scene was traveling with the first, and landed in the field to check on the struggling pilot. There were no injuries or property damage during the emergency landing.
