Medical examiner identifies two killed after crash in Janesville on Saturday

JANESVILLE, Wis. -- The Rock County Medical Examiner identified two individuals who died after a crash in Janesville on Saturday.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Beloit Avenue and East Delavan Drive in Janesville at 2:14 a.m.

The individuals were identified as 70-year-old Wayne W. Caswell of Janesville and 52-year-old Gretchen A. Walbaum of Elkhorn.

The medical examiner said both were pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday. The forensic examinations for both were completed on Saturday and Sunday. Initial results of the examinations confirm both died from the injuries sustained in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
