WHAT WE'RE TRACKING :

• Storms late Thursday night
• Cooler for Labor Day Weekend
• Dry next week

PLNNING THE NE X T 24 HOURS: Overnight, expect mild low temperatures with some patchy fog possible. Most of Thursday is looking dry, although areas well west of Madison could see some showers and storms approach by early Thursday evening. Thursday night will feature a line of thunderstorms moving across southern Wisconsin. An isolated severe storm is possible, with the main storm threats being gusty winds and heavy rain.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : Any morning storms and clouds will clear out early on Friday, with a seasonably warm end to the week. Labor Day Weekend is looking dry and seasonably warm. On Labor Day, Monday, temperatures will fall slightly below normal, into the lower to mid 70s. Early next week, some areas may see overnight temperatures falling into the upper 40s!
