WATCH: Ian Jackson appears in Adidas basketball ad

One of the newcomers to the UNC basketball roster this season is freshman Ian Jackson, a New York native who is a headliner for Hubert Davis’ 2024 recruiting class.

The wing earned a five-star grade and a top 10 overall by multiple recruiting sites. He’s an exciting player who should have a big role for Hubert Davis early on in his career.

But before the season starts, Jackson is getting some shine with his sponsor Adidas for a new ad starring Donovan Mitchell.

The ad centers around the slogan “Trust your game” and also features Jackson and content creator Cam Wilder. In the ad, Wilder says “do you still have bounce”, joining with Mitchell. After a Mitchell dunk, you can see Jackson celebrate with him and give him some props:

While Jackson isn’t the star of the ad, he does make an appearance to help promote Mitchell’s new shoes.

Jackson also being an Adidas athlete means he will be wearing Nike/Jordan brand during games but is free to wear Adidas off the court.  Will Jackson be in more ads moving forward? Stay tuned.
