The North Carolina Tar Heels will tip off their 2024-25 season on November 4th, hosting Elon in the Dean E. Smith Center, beginning what we hope will be an exciting season again in Chapel Hill.

On Wednesday, the program officially unveiled its non-conference schedule, releasing all dates and opponents for Hubert Davis’ team. And looking at the schedule, it’s another difficult non-conference slate for the Tar Heels.

UNC will face off against Kansas, Alabama , Florida , and UCLA , plus play in the Maui Invitational as highlights of the non-conference schedule.

Take a look at the schedule below:

    • vs. Elon (November 4)
    • AT Kansas (November 8)
    • vs. American (November 15)
    • AT Hawai’i (November 22)
    • Maui Invitational (November 25-27)
    • vs. Alabama (December 4) (ACC/SEC Challenge)
    • vs. LaSalle (December 14)
    • vs. Florida (December 17) (Jumpman Classic in Charlotte)
    • vs. UCLA (December 21) (CBS Sports Classic in New York City)
    • vs. Campbell (December 29)

As you can see, it’s a tough non-conference schedule off the bat. Within the first month, UNC will play two top 3 projected teams, going to Kansas and then a month later they play Alabama.

But it will be a good challenge for the Tar Heels as the season goes on.

The full ACC schedule hasn’t been released just yet, so there will likely be a game in early December or late in the month to get the conference season going.
