    8 concerts in Charleston to close out the summer

    CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Don’t let the back-to-school sales , fall decor in stores, or talk of football spoil your summer fun. There are several weeks left of hot and humid weather, trips to the beach, and fun events happening throughout the tri-county.

    If you’re looking for fun ways to round out the summer season, check out these eight concerts coming to Charleston over the next few weeks.

    Country pop duo Dan + Shay are set to perform on Daniel Island in August. The former coaches on NBC’s ‘The Voice’ will bring special guests Jake Owen and Dylan Marlowe to Credit One Stadium during the ‘Heartbreak on the Map Summer Tour’. The concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. on August 15. ( tickets )

    Air Supply , a soft rock duo from Australia, will bring their ‘Lost in Love Experience’ to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center in August. Many will know the band’s mega-hit ‘All Out of Love’ from 1980 and their 1981 hit ‘The One That You Love’. The show is set for August 16 at 8 p.m. ( tickets )

    Music icon Peter Frampton will perform at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center in early September as part of his ‘Positively Thankful’ tour. Frampton’s hits include ‘Show Me the Way,’ ‘Baby, I Love Your Way,’ and ‘Breaking All the Rules’ among many others. You can catch Frampton on September 8 at 8 p.m. ( tickets )

    Go back to 19- 19- 1985 with Bowling for Soup at the Charleston Music Hall on September 8. The band formed in 1994 but really took off in the early 2000s with ‘1985’ and ‘Girl All the Bad Guys Want’. They are now crossing the country on a ‘Sick 50 Tour’ and will play in Charleston on Sunday, September 8 at 7:30 p.m. ( tickets )

    Soulja Boy will perform at the Charleston Music Farm on Sunday, September 8. The rapper rose to fame in 2007 after his debut single ‘Crank That’ hit the Billboard Hot 100 for several weeks. The show is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. ( tickets )

    Country music artist Dierks Bentley is headed to Daniel Island in September on his ‘Gravel and Gold Tour’. Special guests include Lee Brice and Tanner Usrey. Bentley is known for ‘What Was I Thinkin’’ when it topped the Billboard Country charts in 2003. Catch the show at Credit One Stadium on Friday, September 13 at 7 p.m. ( tickets )

    Jelly Roll is set to perform at the North Charleston Coliseum in September. He welcomes special guests Warren Zeiders and Alexandra Kay as part of ‘The Beautifully Broken Tour’. The American rapper and singer began his career in 2003 but burst onto the popular scene in 2022 after releasing the singles ‘Son of a Sinner’ and ‘Need a Favor’. The show is scheduled for September 19. ( tickets )

    With a career spanning more than 40 years – including three multi-platinum albums, six platinum albums, and four gold albums – Amy Grant is on the road with plans to perform at the Charleston Music Hall in late September. Her hit songs include 1991’s ‘Baby, Baby’ and ‘I Will Remember You,’ but she may be most known for her Christmas albums – even being dubbed the “Queen of Christmas” among fans. Her show is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24 at 8 p.m. ( tickets )
