KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — Probable cause was found in the case against a man accused of fatally stabbing another man in the Kanawha City area of Charleston on June 19.

The case against William Selbe will now be bound over to the Kanawha County Circuit Court.

The Charleston Police Department said Selbe, 25, of Charleston, is being charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Nicholas Hodge, 35, of Charleston.

Hodge was found near the GoMart in the Kanawha City area and taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, the Charleston Police Department said.

Selbe had left the gas station before police arrived, according to the CPD. They said they found him and arrested him at a residence nearby.
