    Police report: 1 hurt in South End shooting, carjacking

    Police are investigating after a man was shot and carjacked early Monday morning in Charlotte’s South End neighborhood.

    It happened just after 1 a.m. at the intersection of South Mint Street and West Summit Avenue. The police report for the incident says it happened outside the Cloud nightclub.

    Police said the suspect stole the man’s Chevrolet Camaro after shooting him. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, MEDIC said.

    Channel 9 is asking police if they have any suspects.
