FORECAST: Heat and humidity continues to start the week

FORECAST:

• The heat and humidity sticks around for a few more days.
• Low risk for any chances of Thunderstorms.
• Heat index values peak around 105.
• The second big story is going to be a major cold front that’s going to swing through the Carolinas on Wednesday and stall out around Charlotte on Thursday.
• This is expected to cause several rounds of showers and storms, along with a major cooldown.
• By the end of the upcoming week, we’ll be seeing temperatures 5 to 10 degrees below average.
