    Victim dies after 4 are injured in Uptown lounge shooting: CMPD

    CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — One of the four victims injured in a shooting outside an uptown Charlotte lounge last month has died, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said.

    CMPD said on Tuesday that officers had responded to calls regarding the incident around 1:58 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, near 600 North Tryon Street in uptown Charlotte.

    Four victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds and were taken to an area medical center. One of those victims, Aundray Brown Jr., 30, succumbed to his injuries on Monday.

    An initial investigation stated that the four victims were found outside A1 Lounge after a suspect used a handgun to shoot into the business.

    There is no mention of a suspect or a motive in the shooting at this time.

    The other shooting victims, a man, and two women, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
