CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A Charlotte armed robbery suspect who boasted about his criminal activity through social media pics has received a rather lengthy prison sentence, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of North Carolina announced.

Hasahn Flowe, 27, of Charlotte, will serve over nine years after pleading guilty in February of 2023 to Hobbs Act robbery and possession and brandishing of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

Court records stated that in January of 2023, Flowe robbed a Sam’s Mart on Beatties Ford Road and a 7-Eleven on Statesville Road. He was armed with a gun during both robberies.

Over the course of the investigation, detectives found pics on social media of Flowe wearing a bandana and the gun he was seen with in surveillance footage. He was interviewed shortly thereafter and subsequently arrested, the district attorney’s office said.

    The gun was also recovered.
