A month later on July 10, another business was broken into near the 6000 block of Old Plank Road. Suspects broke in after hours and stole an ATM that had several thousand dollars in cash inside.

During a follow-up on a case unrelated to the break-ins, deputies located a vehicle and trailer used in the break-ins and part of an ATM outside of a residence near the 2000 block of Cardinal Loop in Stanley.

Detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded and executed a search warrant at the residence. Multiple items of evidence were seized as well as the stolen ATM and gaming machine from both break-ins.

Based on the evidence and other information collected, detectives were able to determine the identity of the suspects involved.
