It's hard to find any happy Carolina Panthers fans, according to a new survey that examined fan happiness of professional sports teams in North America.

The study found that 65% of Panthers don't think the team has a shot at making it to the Super Bowl. They aren't exactly wrong.

The study was created by Casino.org .

Panthers fans nearly always feel "let down" by the team. On the survey, with a 1 (never) to 5 (always) scale, Panthers fans marked down a 4 when asked if that was the case.

What doesn't help is that over half of Carolina football fans don't trust the team's management.

Key findings from the study include:

    • 40% of fans aren't happy with the team's current players.
    • 45% find game day expenses to be too expensive (tickets, merchandise, concessions).
    • 55% don't find game day experiences to be enjoyable.
    • 55% of fans don't trust management.

Ahead of the 2024 season, the Panthers are trying to change the narrative around the franchise.

Dan Morgan, on Tuesday , claimed that the Panthers are trusting the process when it comes to team building. It is a change in tone for a franchise that has often looked for quick fixes and simple solutions to complex problems.

"I'm not going to put any expectations on anything right now," Morgan said Tuesday as veteran players reported for the start of training camp. "What I do know is there is a lot of work ahead of us, not only from a personnel standpoint but from the players. ... In terms of playoffs, we will reach that goal when we're ready. But I think right now we are focused on today and tomorrow and getting better as a team."
