I-79 Traffic Shift Monday Night in Robinson Township
PennDOT District 11 is announcing a traffic shift on northbound Interstate 79 in Robinson Township, Allegheny County will occur Monday, July 15 weather permitting. The northbound I-79 lanes at the I-376 interchange will shift to accommodate bridge deck overlay work. Line painting operations will begin Monday evening, July 15. Once painting operations conclude, traffic will be shifted to the left around-the-clock through mid-August into the new configuration maintaining two 12-foot-wide lanes with a 6-foot shoulder. All interchange ramp access will be maintained.

The Armstrong Group of Companies, a third-generation family-owned, Pittsburgh-based telecom, will repay the U.S. Treasury $6.5 million. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that the payback comes after a whistleblower lawsuit was brought against the company in 2008.
