    CHATHAM, NJ -- The tradition of saving a spot along the parade route on Main Street continued on Tuesday with Chatham residents beginning to put out their chairs for Thursday's annual Fourth of July Parade. https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=3SE6it_0uCdt7Dv00

    Chatham's 70th Fourth of July Parade is set to start at 10:30 a.m., starting at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and Main Street, and ending at the Chatham Middle School.

    Chatham Borough Fire Chief Peter Glogolich, a 42-year member of Chatham Borough's Volunteer Fire Department, will be honored as the Grand Marshal for the 2024 Independence Day Parade.

    The Chatham Fire Department Association organizes the parade on Independence Day, as well as the fireworks at night, which is held at the middle school.
