Cleveland, TN – According to the statement, in a gesture of appreciation, the department honored K9 Max (handled by SRO Harris), K9 Gizmo (with MPO Malone), K9 Uka (paired with Officer Doss), and K9 Ebby (under Officer Cabrera).

As part of the celebration, the public had a chance to spot the department’s new K9 trucks around town.

Thanks to grant funding, Cleveland PD was able to outfit four new K9 vehicles at no cost to the citizens—a move that was hailed as a “doggone good deal.”

For those feeling left out on National Dog Day, the department encouraged the community to visit the Cleveland TN Animal Control Division to find a new furry friend.
