    The Clarksville Police Department hosted a promotion ceremony at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, honoring numerous officers for their promotions and accomplishments within the department

    Clarksville, TN – According to the police officials, the following officers were promoted to Sergeant, effective immediately: Field Training Officer Sven Szczerbiak, Agent Matthew Ferrell, Officer Daniel Binkley, and Field Training Officer Gannon Gray. Sgt. Szczerbiak joined CPD in March 2008, Sgt. Ferrell in December 2010, Sgt. Binkley in December 2013, and Sgt. Gray in July 2015.

    Additionally, the department recognized several officers for promotions received in recent months. These officers included Detectives Matthew Hensley, Sean Nolan, Alan Atwell, and Joshua Lajoie.

    Several others were promoted to Field Training Officer (FTO), including Reid Joffer, Chance Suiter, Elijah Horton, John Riley, Clint Sutton, Randy Cox, and Matthew Roederer (not pictured).

    Each officer embraced the responsibilities of their new roles and continued to serve the citizens of Clarksville with professionalism.

    Kayla Billotte was honored as the Clarksville Police Department’s Employee of the Quarter for the 4th Quarter of 2023/2024. Billotte, who serves as the Administrative Support Clerk for CPD’s Training Division, was recognized for her exceptional work in ensuring the accuracy of records, training documentation, and travel arrangements.

    Officer Burlingame was named the Clarksville Police Department’s Employee of the Year for 2023-2024, having previously been recognized as the Employee of the 3rd Quarter.
