    Victims identified in fatal two-car I-86 crash in Chemung

    CHEMUNG, N.Y. ( WETM ) — New York State Police provided an update Monday morning and released the names of three victims who died in a two-car crash on Interstate 86 on Friday.

    According to state police, 36-year-old Steven A. Mallory, of Horseheads, 18-year-old Colin J. Ferrell, and 44-year-old Tiffany L. Ferrell both of Endicott, were pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on I-86 in the town of Chemung on Friday, July 19 around 4:51 p.m.

    Police have determined that Mallory was traveling west on the highway when he crossed the median near Exit 58 and hit the second vehicle driven by Colin Ferrell while Tiffany Ferrell was the passenger.

    The crash remains under investigation.
