Hot, Humid and Hazy with Thunderstorms Possible
The heat and humidity are sticking around Tuesday with highs in the upper-80s and lower-90s. Hazy sunshine is expected with another chance for strong to severe thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday night with lows in the upper-60s. The last round of showers and thunderstorms will sweep through Wednesday as a cold front drops down. A few storms could be strong to severe. Temperatures will be in the mid-80s. Temperatures will remain in the lower-80s to end out the week. Not only will we see relief from the heat, but relief from the humidity. Partly sunny skies are expected on Thursday and Friday. The fair skies continue into the upcoming weekend with highs in the mid-80s. We remain in the low to mid-80s on Monday with clouds increasing.

MONTOUR FALLS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Several people who live in a Schuyler County mobile home park were displaced after severe storms ripped through the Twin Tiers Monday evening. "The house literally shook," said Bart Curtis, a resident of Rock Cabin Park who was displaced by the storm. "When I heard glass breaking, I knew something was not quite right. When I went to look, I couldn't get out the front door, and I couldn't get out the side door."
