Beginning on Monday, July 8th, Fox 40 will honor the 40 most impactful sports figures in the Southern Tier's history every weekday on Fox 40 News at Six and 10. Figures honored will receive a bio and monologue regarding their career from Fox 40 sports director Ian Mills. One figure will be revealed per night.

VESTAL, N.Y, — The Binghamton swimming & diving teams travel to the America East Championships, which will be held Wednesday-Saturday. For the first time ever, the meet will be hosted by Virginia Military Institute (VMI). The Binghamton Black Bears will hang their Commissioner's Cup banner on Saturday, October 12th during the team's home opener.
