    Cherokee County Fire Department Staff Recognized for Service

    Two Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services staff members were honored July 2 by the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners for their service to the community.

    Division Chief Chad Arp, who serves as Cherokee County’s fire marshal, was honored for his 25 years of service. Throughout his tenure, Arp demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the community, according to CCFES.

    Additionally, Lisa Grisham, senior fire safety educator, was honored for her five years of service. Her dedication and expertise in fire safety education have significantly contributed to enhancing public safety awareness throughout Cherokee County, according to the fire department.

    “We are immensely grateful for the dedication and hard work of Chief Arp and Lisa Grisham,” said Fire Chief Eddie Robinson. “Their unwavering commitment to serving our community exemplifies the mission and core values of our organization.”
