Spectacular weather conditions continue, lasting through the weekend
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Drier and cooler air continues to work its way into the region, giving us some beautiful days to enjoy. We’re expecting a mix of sun and a few pop-up clouds at times this afternoon, though don’t expect a repeat of yesterday’s late-day overcast. Things will warm slowly but steadily into the mid to upper 70s for an afternoon high. For late July, this is several degrees below normal, and extremely comfortable. A little bit of a breeze from the north or northwest is out there, too, perhaps peaking between 10 to 20 mph at times.
