New Traffic Light Coming to Reinhardt College Parkway Intersection

Canton has approved a contract to install a traffic signal at the intersection of Reinhardt College Parkway and Reservoir Drive.

The Canton City Council voted 5-0 Aug. 15 to award a $702,690 contract to Glosson Enterprises to install a traffic signal at the intersection of Reinhardt College Parkway and Reservoir Drive. Councilmember Travis Johnson was absent from the meeting.

A city analysis of the intersection determined that a signal is warranted, City Engineer Bethany Watson said.

This project is expected to be completed by summer 2025, according to the city.

Signal installation will be paid for through Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax funds and impact fees.
