Christopher Bucceroni, 28, a Gloucester Township police officer from West Deptford, was off-duty and driving his personally-owned vehicle, a 2020 Toyota RAV4, when he struck the 18-year-old bicyclist around 2:30 a.m. June 20, on Erial Road and Blackwood-Clementon Road, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay said alongside Bucceroni's chief, David Harkins.

3-year-old injured after being bitten by dog while leaving corner store in Philadelphia
A 3-year-old was injured after a dog repeatedly bit him in West Philadelphia on Tuesday.It happened just before 6 p.m. on the unit block of North 57th Street.Officers responded to the scene after multiple 911 calls reported that a child was being attacked by a dog.Upon arrival, police say they found a 3-year-old boy on the sidewalk with several dog bites along his arm.The child and his mother were then transported to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where the boy is in stable condition.According to police, the child was with his mother at a corner store near where they live.The boy reportedly walked out of the store first, and when he did, the dog jumped off a neighboring porch and attacked.Witnesses say the dog was not leashed or behind a fence.Officers described the dog as a mid-size Rottweiler. Investigators also say the attack seemingly happened for no reason.Authorities were able to contain the dog at the scene.Police later returned the dog to its owner, where the animal will need to be quarantined indoors for 10 days while the investigation takes place.
3 killed in crash on Route 1 bypass in Pennsylvania
UPPER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- Three people were killed after a small bus rear-ended a truck and caught fire on the Route 1 Media Bypass in Delaware County on Tuesday.The driver of a paratransit bus rear-ended a truck hauling a dumpster. The bus then caught fire, a spokesperson for the Delaware County District Attorney's Office said.The three people killed were all in the bus, the spokesperson added.The driver of the bus was pronounced dead on the scene.Passing drivers tried to pull two people from the wreckage of the bus via the rear door but those victims were also pronounced dead.The driver of the truck was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.The crash was first reported just before 8 a.m.Traffic heading southbound on the bypass was blocked all morning through noon.
