Two Virginia Big Lots stores will close

Big Lots currently has 1,389 locations in 48 US states. There are no stores in Hawaii or Alaska. At this point, around 150 stores are scheduled to close this year. In Virginia, there are 42 locations and two of them are expected to close in 2024.

A list of store closings across the US was just released, and WRIC reveals that two in the Commonwealth will be shuttered. The Big Lots in Fredericksburg and the Warrenton Road location in Manassas will close.

The company began in Columbus, Ohio, but some locations had different names until 2001 when all the stores became Big Lots. No dates have been given for when the locations will begin closing, so stay tuned for updates.
