    Areosmith will retire from touring

Virginia rock fans, the world has been hit with a devastating blow. Aerosmith frontman/vocalist Steven Tyler's vocal cords have taken a hit he will not recover from. Fox News calls the revelation "heartbreaking."

    Tyler's voice will not recover

My favorite Aerosmith song is Dream On and my favorite video is the remake of Walk This Way with Run DMC. Even though Tyker is 76, Virginia fans I have spoken with said they expected his unique voice to continue on but that is now not the case.

    The end of the journey

Last year, the group, which had already announced its "Peace Out" farewell tour, abruptly postponed it. Tyler's doctor had revealed that in addition to damaged vocal cords, he fractured his larynx, which required ongoing care.

Deadline says Aerosmith announced on its official X account that it would not return to touring because of Tyler's injured vocals and inability to recover. The group has been together since 1970, and the tour was scheduled to resume in September.
