Big Lots to close more than 300 locations

Daily Press reported that Big Lots will close 315 stores due to losses, as customers have cut back on spending.

“We are confident that the steps we are taking will best position the company for the future as we return to our roots, focus on owning the bargain space, and deliver unmistakable value to our customers,” Big Lots said.

Virginia locations have been identified

WTKR has confirmed that nine stores in the Commonwealth will be shuttered: Three in Central Virgini., four in the Tidewater area, and two in NOVA. They are as follows.
