DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — From the Massachusetts State Police:. Around 4:15AM on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, Trooper Scott Boutell of the SP-Shelburne Falls Barracks was conducting patrol on Interstate 91 in Deerfield. While travelling northbound, Trooper Boutell’s attention was drawn to a Chevy Tahoe traveling in front of his cruiser. Trooper Boutell conducted an RMV query of the vehicle and discovered the vehicle’s registration to be revoked, and the inspection sticker to be expired.

NTSB: Plane in Colonie crash had no mechanical issues
The NTSB is out with its preliminary report on the deadly June 17 plane crash in Colonie. There were no mechanical issues, they said, and there’s still no definitive cause. The airplane struggled to make it to 800 feet, according to the report. It then lost altitude and rolled a few times before crashing in a wooded area near the William K. Sanford Library.
