The fire happened on June 8, 2023 around 5 a.m. at Big Body Butcher Shop at 2008 Central Ave. The business had extensive damage and never reopened. Investigators determined it to be suspicious.

Mass. weather: Hail, thunderstorms could soak areas Thursday night
While the dry weather reprieve is set to continue going into the weekend and beyond, there might be a stormy pause on Thursday. Low clouds and stratus were predominantly around the Cape and Islands before spreading out across parts of southern New England, according to the National Weather Service. New York State Police are continuing to investigate a cold case homicide. On July 25, 2004, Brian Galusha, 30, was found severely injured on North Green Road in Charleston (Fultonville) and later died at Albany Medical Center.
