SPARTANBURG, SC (06/13/2024), JUN 13, 2024 — Josephine Miller of Hamer, S.C., has been named to Wofford College’s spring 2024 Dean’s List. Wofford College, established in 1854, is a four-year, residential liberal arts college located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It offers 27 major fields of study to a student body of 1,800 undergraduates. Nationally known for the strength of its academic program, outstanding faculty, experiential learning opportunities and successful graduates, Wofford is recognized consistently as a “best value” and for its commitment to student success and accessibility for low- and middle-income students. The college community has 12 sororities and fraternities as well as 20 NCAA Division I athletics teams.
Charter school will open in former office building in Spartanburg, South Carolina
Around 1,000 students will begin walking the halls later this summer at Mountain View Preparatory, a new charter school in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Greenville Journal reports that the school will provide students in grades seven through 12 with career and technical educations with a focus on sports and entertainment careers.
