Road improvements are focus of new tax proposal in Webster Township
WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI -- Webster Township voters are being asked on Aug. 6 to decide the fate of a tax increase to fund the maintenance and reconstruction of roads. The 0.8225-mill tax for 10 years, beginning in 2024, is on the primary election ballot. It would help fund maintenance, reconstruction, resurfacing and preservation of roads in the township served by the Washtenaw County Road Commission.
PROPERTY WHERE RICHMOND BURGER KING SITS SELLS
(Richmond, IN)--The property where Richmond’s east-side Burger King sits has sold. According to online property records, the property’s owner, McLochlin Enterprises, recently closed on a sale to Equitas Partners II. Equitas provides all types of advisory services focused on private equity and specialty financing. The property sold for $1.45 million. Burger King has operated at its east-side location for at least the last 40 years.

TROY — Chad M. Waymire, of Potsdam, has been sentenced to 3 to 4.5 years in prison on six counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor Monday, July 15, after he previously entered guilty pleas to six out of the 12 charges of which he was indicted in April.

The Connersville Spartanette Dance Team came away with Excellent ratings for their Home and Team Lead Routines at the 2024 National Dance Alliance team camp at Ball State University in Muncie last week.
