    Indiana man drowns after kayak overturns in Hudson River

    CHESTER, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The body of an Indiana man was recovered in the Town of Chester after a kayak overturned in the Hudson River. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says Alfred Arzuaga, 67, was found dead on the eastern side of the Hudson River.

    Deputies received a call on Friday around 7:08 p.m. reporting an overturned kayak with someone in the water unaccounted for. The incident initially occurred on the Hudson River near North Creek.

    Several crews responded, including the Warren County Marine Rescue Team and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. The drowning is still under investigation.
