Growing up, Lindsey McGee always had an interest in exploring the “hows” and “whys” of the world and the physics that play into everyday occurrences. At Marquette High, she capitalized on a variety of opportunities to further explore these curiosities through classes such as advanced physics, engineering and drafting. Now, the 2022 Marquette graduate is an honor roll student at the University of Mississippi, where she is working toward a mechanical engineering degree with a minor in Spanish.
Eureka High Featured in New Book About Benefits of Theatre Education
Lucy Ferguson appeared in her first play when she was 7: a Parkway-Rockwood Community Education Spotlight Productions presentation of “The Wizard of Oz.”. From there, she continued taking dance, voice and acting classes, appeared in shows with regional companies and became involved in classes at Eureka High and with the Eureka Theatre Company (etc…). Now a rising junior musical theatre major at Indiana University Bloomington, Ferguson has spent a good amount of time reflecting on the positive personal and academic effects afforded to her by an upbringing on stage.
