Quincy, MA (July 26, 2024) –Stop & Shop is alerting shoppers that Boar’s Head has recalled select deli meat products due to the potential presence of Listeria. Stop & Shop has removed all impacted products from sale both in stores and online. In an abundance of caution, because this product is sliced in stores, Stop & Shop has also discarded all other open deli meats and cheeses that could have been sliced or prepared in the same area and is conducting a thorough cleaning of the deli area and equipment.

Longtime Adams Village restauranteur mourned after sudden death
Kenny Blasi, the co-owner and proprietor of the popular Adams Village eatery Blasi's Kitchen and Bar, died on Wednesday, July 24 after suffering a heart attack. The Dorchester native leaves behind his wife Maria and their four children, along with many other relatives and friends. He will be waked next Monday, July 29, 4-8 p.m. at John J. O’Connor & Son Funeral Home in Adams Village. His funeral is set for Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Church in South Boston.

The Revere Beach Partnership is thrilled to announce our award recipients for the 2024 Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival. [This story first appeared on Boston Restaurant Talk.]. A gourmet burger chain that got its start overseas has closed its sole Boston-area location. According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Burgerim in Burlington is no longer in operation, with a sign out front saying that it has permanently closed. The dining spot first opened at Middlesex Marketplace in the early part of 2020, being part of a chain with roots in Israel though it is now headquartered in California.
