Cheyenne Frontier Days: No Bucking Horse Roundup This Year
Cheyenne Frontier Days Officials have announced that they will not be holding a bucking horse roundup as part of CFD 2024. The horse drive had replaced the traditional CFD cattle drive. That event had been held for years on the Sunday before Frontier Days, and was often considered the unofficial kickoff of the "Daddy of 'em All.''
