(670 The Score) The Cubs called up infielder Luis Vazquez amid a series of roster moves Tuesday.

Chicago also activated shortstop Dansby Swanson (knee sprain) from the injured list and optioned outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and infielder Miles Mastrobuoni to Triple-A Iowa.

The 24-year-old Vazquez was hitting .262 with three homers, 11 RBIs and a .360 on-base percentage in 39 games at Triple-A this season.
Vazquez was a 14th-round pick of the Cubs in 2017, and this marks his first MLB call-up.

Swanson is hitting .209 with four homers and 12 RBIs this season. He had been sidelined since May 7, though he was initially hurt on April 25.

The rookie Crow-Armstrong was hitting .236 with one homer and nine RBIs in 23 games. Mastrobuoni was hitting .179 in 11 games.

The Cubs open a three-game series against the Braves on Tuesday at Wrigley Field. First pitch is set for 6:40 p.m. CT. The game can be heard on 670 The Score or by downloading the Audacy app and searching for 670 The Score.
