Brace yourselves for one of the Chicago Cubs prospect highlights of the season. Pete Crow-Armstrong is putting on a show at Triple-A Iowa.

In a sequence with Indianapolis Indians on Friday night, Crow-Armstrong was at the plate facing former big leaguer Wily Peralta. The first pitch nearly hit PCA. The second pitch was above PCA's head, leading to manager Marty Pevey getting ejected from the game. Whether Peralta was intentional or not, it caused some fireworks at Principal Park.

Then, PCA did one of the coolest things you can do as a baseball player. He took the next pitch and hammered it for a home run, igniting an electric bat flip along the way.

It was the play that ignited Principal Park, and jolts PCA into the minds of Cubs fans everywhere on a night where the big-league team didn't play and the bats need a spark. Instead of watching Cubs at Cardinals, Crow-Armstrong provided the ultimate highlight for the fanbase to kick off Memorial Day weekend.

The Iowa Cubs ran away with the game and won 12-0 . On Saturday, the two teams do battle once again at 6:08 p.m. CDT.
