Intriguing Team To Be Featured On HBO's 'Hard Knocks': Report

The Chicago Bears will be featured in the upcoming season of HBO 's popular NFL training camp docuseries Hard Knocks , sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN 's Adam Schefter on Thursday (May 30).

The Bears finished the 2023 NFL season with a 7-10 record, but made several key acquisitions this offseason, most notably selecting former Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams at No. 1 overall and former All-American wide receiver Rome Odunze at No. 9 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.

"NFL and NFL Films have selected the Chicago Bears to serve as this year’s team on Hard Knocks, sources tell ESPN. First episode of Hard Knocks with the Bears is scheduled to air Tuesday night, Aug. 6," Schefter wrote on his X account. "The Bears are the first team to be selected for Hard Knocks with a No. 1 overall pick rookie quarterback since the Browns were featured in 2018 with Baker Mayfield."

Chicago also acquired veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen in a trade with the Los Angeles Chargers, signed free agent running back D'Andre Swift and safety Kevin Byard and hired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron during the offseason.

The New York Giants were previously announced to be featured in a special offseason addition of Hard Knocks set to premiere in July.
