(670 The Score) Both of Chicago’s baseball teams are scuffling as they enter the Crosstown Classic.

The Cubs have lost 14 of their past 19 games to drop to 29-31 and seven games behind the NL Central-leading Brewers. On the other side of town, the White Sox have lost 11 straight games and are an MLB-worst 15-45, putting them on a pace to be one of the worst teams in MLB history.

The teams will play at Wrigley Field on Tuesday and Wednesday. Ahead of that, the Mully & Haugh Show debated this question: Have the Cubs or White Sox been the bigger disappointment this season?

Score morning host David Haugh believes it has to be the Cubs because of their preseason status as the favorites in the NL Central.

“This season has been a disappointment to Craig Counsell, and I think that if you’re a Cubs fan, you expected so much more,” Haugh said. “The standard has to be higher, and they have to start meeting that standard. So the White Sox could lose potentially more games than any team in the modern era this year. They’re on that path mathematically, and yet the Cubs will take the field tonight as the most disappointing team in Chicago.”
