Bears to Bring Back WR/Returner DeAndre Carter

The Chicago Bears are reportedly adding depth to their wide receiver group and special teams room. After spending last season with the Las Vegas Raiders and only starting one game, DeAndre Carter will sign with the Bears, per NFL insider Jordan Schultz .

DeAndre Carter

DeAndre Carter is a six-year NFL veteran, playing for the Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Commanders. He also spent part of the 2020 season with the Chicago Bears, appearing in four games.

Carter has played in 94 games , hauling in 108 of his 157 targets. He has six touchdowns, three with the Chargers and three with the Commanders.

The 31-year-old has logged significant special teams snaps throughout his career. He's returned 132 punts and 118 kickoffs, one of which he took all the way for a touchdown with Washington.
