Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams is chasing greatness. He wants to win eight Super Bowls, a total that would surpass Tom Brady's championship mantle . The USC product hasn't even seen an NFL field yet but his goal could be reached... until it can't be.

It's been four decades since the Bears won a Super Bowl. The embarrassment Chicago fans have experienced since then is excruciating and by all accounts unacceptable for this historic franchise.

Tom Brady was asked about Caleb Williams's aspirations and responded accordingly. Brady said he'd never tell a rising star not to chase his dreams.

"Everyone's gonna find different ways for motivation," the storied signal-caller said on NFL Network . "And that's certainly a way that Caleb can find it...

"I think people should always reach for the stars, certainly young quarterbacks in the league, they've got a lot of opportunity. But their career is gonna be made by what they choose to do...the work they put in, the relationships they develop with their teammates and the organizations they can impact."

But eight championships is a monumental task and Williams won't be able to do it alone. The Bears need to give him every ounce of help they can if that dream is to become a reality.

As long as the Bears put the correct pieces around the young quarterback, like fellow rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze and seasoned veteran Keenan Allen, that dream remains alive.

And Brady will certainly be following along as Williams chases greatness.

"They should have high goals, but at the same time, they're gonna have to work hard to achieve them. And I really look forward to seeing that process unfold. That's really where the hard part comes, for sure."
