Kenny Chesney has a lot to look forward to as he continues touring this summer, but it will be tough to top his recent performance in Chicago.

A note from the "You and Tequila" singer's team revealed that, so far, he has "smashed his previous sales and attendance records at almost every stadium this summer." However, this past weekend's show at Chicago’s Soldier Field broke his highest attendance record, with nearly 2,000 more people filling the stands and making it his most attended concert to date.

Reflecting on all his wins in a statement, Chesney declared this “the most amazing summer."

“No Shoes Nation has always been this passionate, insane country without borders with people who come together, raise our pirate flag and enjoy life in ways that inspire me," he added. "I didn’t know you could have some of the responses we’ve had on this tour, and just when you think it can’t get any louder or more heartfelt, Chicago happens.”

The 56-year-old country crooner also gushed about the history-making moment online, sharing a few photos of the June 15 concert alongside a special message of gratitude.

"Chicago, last night you gave us everything we could ask for and more," he wrote. "Being on stage and feeling your wave of love in the moment was so magical. Thank you for that and know we love you."

"Last night was special for a lot of reasons, but Poncho made his stage debut last night and he loves the crowd almost as much as his dad," he added before concluding, "Thanks again for one special night in Chicago. #SunGoesDownTour."

Chesney's Sun Goes Down Tour is set to resume on Thursday, June 20, at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana, with over a dozen shows left until him and his band wrap up at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Sunday, August 25.

Currently touring with the award-winning singer is the Zac Brown Band , Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker .
