(670 The Score) Bulls executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas’ comments late Wednesday about star forward DeMar DeRozan’s future with the organization were a departure from the sentiment he had been publicly expressing for months.

Asked if the Bulls still wanted to re-sign the 34-year-old DeRozan as he’s set to enter unrestricted free agency Sunday, Karnisovas shared an open-ended response.

“As I said also before, we’re going to look at everything,” Karnisovas said. “Everything is on the table. It’s still an option.”

Those comments came after Karnisovas expressed a desire to re-sign DeRozan in his season-ending news conference in April. And in the mind of Score midday host Laurence Holmes, Karnisovas’ new stance on DeRozan revealed plenty, even if he didn’t relay much verbally.

“It sounds as if they are trying tear it down without saying it,” Holmes said of the Bulls. “They’ll let the actions say it versus them saying it.”
