Angel Reese's Shooting Gets Roasted With Hilarious Viral Post

    By Grant Young,

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese set a WNBA record with her tenth consecutive double-double during Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Lynx.

While Reese did manage to score 10 points and grab 16 rebounds, she shot 4 of 16 from the field, which amounts to a 25% field goal percentage.

This is an objectively poor percentage; especially for a post player who takes most of their shots close to the basket.

And an X post of someone roasting Reese's missed shots on Sunday went insanely viral.

X user @alxshier posted a screenshot of a section of Sunday's Sky vs. Lynx game log that shows Reese missing three consecutive close shots, grabbing three rebounds, and then making a fourth shot.

"Angel Reese just playing hot potato off the backboard," the post writes.

The post has over 1.3 millions views on X.

And fans are having a field day in the replies.

"'She averaging double double' yea I’d hope so 8 of the rebounds are from her bricking layups," one fan wrote.

"ANGEL REESE WITH ANOTHER DOUBLE DOUBLE!!! Yeah and half of them are her own misses," said another.

Reese is having a fantastic rookie season. But her finishing ability could use some improvement at times.
