Contrary to the opinions of many, the NHL has effectively forgiven former Chicago Blackhawks executives Stan Bowman and Al MacIssac, and former head coach Joel Quenneville for their involvement in the Kyle Beach scandal. The lack of proper reporting and investigation after the incident led to the executive's dismissals from the organization. Quenneville, already with the Florida Panthers at the time the news broke, was fired.

Now, after two-plus years out of the sport, all three men have been reinstated by the NHL, granting their ability to find employment once again after July 10.

Although all three men are surely excited to have a shot in the NHL once again, many in the media and fanbase are not happy with the resolution. In fact, even Daniel Carcillo spoke about about the trio upon the news breaking this afternoon.

In addition, it already sounds like Bowman has found himself a job with the Edmonton Oilers. His role is uncertain at this point, but he will have a position come the 10th when he can sign.

At the end of the day, the NHL believes they made the right decision by allowing these three men back into the league. Whether or not the NHL did really comes down to perspective and feelings on forgiveness. Nonetheless, all three will be allowed back in the NHL.
