Chicago Sky Coach Implores Angel Reese, Teammates To Lock In Before WNBA Game

    By Grant Young,

Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky are currently 6-11 on the 2024 WNBA season prior to Tuesday's contest against the Atlanta Dream.

This game is an important one for the Sky to win, considering that the Dream have a 7-10 record and are therefore slightly ahead of the Sky in the WNBA standings.

Prior to Tuesday's game, Reese won the WNBA's Rookie of the Month Award for June.

And right after Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon delivered this news to her team, she also sent her squad a clear message.

"Guys, let's just lock in and be intentional about our work today. Okay?" Weatherspoon said.

"Be intentional," Weatherspoon continued. "Be intentional with what we do, and how we have to grow and be better to come and get this win.

"Let's go and snatch this win tonight," Weatherspoon concluded before bringing her team up for a break.

Weatherspoon has proven time and time again that she's one of the WNBA's best coaches when it comes to sending a powerful message to her players.

Let's see how her Sky squad will respond on Tuesday.
