    Zach Lavine.

While virtually no one is banging the table with the belief that a Zach LaVine trade will get done in the immediate future, it appears there are still ongoing conversations about a potential deal. Although NBC Sports Chicago insider K.C. Johnson wasn't overly confident while discussing a possible LaVine deal, he highlighted two teams to monitor.

The Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors.

While speaking on the Bulls Talk Podcast , Johnson pinpointed those two franchises as "still having conversations" with Chicago about a possible LaVine deal.

“I’ve been led to believe that there are still two teams — again, everything’s fluid. This is Monday morning. I’ve been led to believe that there are two teams that are still at least having conversations with a glimmer of hope, however you want to phrase it," Johnson said. "I don’t want to be aggregated poorly. I’m just grasping for the best way to phrase it myself. What I will say is I’ve written the Kings and Warriors .... those are the two teams I’m still monitoring."

For good measure, Johnson was careful to point out that there's still a scenario where LaVine returns to the Bulls, which would happen if the team cannot find a deal for him.

"But we said all along, it may not happen and I gained some traction on this podcast by saying there is a scenario in which Zach LaVine returns, and that scenario is the Bulls can’t find a trade for him. So we’ll see how it plays out. It is fluid but, yes, it is still an organizational priority to try to trade Zach LaVine."

Johnson also stated that LaVine did not request a trade last year, but his representation told the franchise that they should work together to potentially shop him if they continue to lose.

The Kings and Warriors make sense as potential landing spots for LaVine if a deal comes to fruition. With Sacramento attempting to remain in the mix in a brutally tough Western Conference, adding another scorer such as LaVine would bolster their offensive outlook immediately.

As for the Warriors, the departure of Klay Thompson is an obvious blow, especially when posing the question of how they'll fill that void. With players like Jonathan Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski, Golden State does have options to fill out its starting lineup. But after a season in which the Warriors narrowly made the NBA Play-In Tournament as the No. 10 seed and were blown out by the Kings, their front office needs to find a way to add more firepower alongside Stephen Curry.
